To be inspired

Hey thanks for visiting my blog again! For the longest time now I've wanted to do a single colour matching shoot. So the same colour for the backdrop, the model's outfit and the props. Didn't really know how to approach this because I don't have a studio or backdrops but then I saw this tweet and got very inspired!

The Model

Kaoutar was the model for this shoot. We've done shoots with her before and she's honestly one of our favourite models to shoot with.

The Location

The location wasn't really important for this shoot. We just needed a wall.

The Shoot

We got a couple of props for the shoot: a yellow paper tablecloth, blue wrapping paper and some plastic flowers. We started with the yellow paper tablecloth that we taped to the wall to use as backdrop and took same portrait shots. Same with the blue wrapping paper. The model wore a yellow and blue top respectively and we also used the flower props for some shots.

Next time we definitely have to make sure the paper has no creases at all when its taped to the wall, because that was such a hassle to fix in post lol. We also had pink wrapping paper and flowers but I wanted to changed it up a bit so for the last outfit (the pink one) so we took shots in my car. Definitely going to use that pink paper as well for another shoot, so stay tuned for that!
